I have written nine post since March
All of my posts were set by the challenge. I didn’t write any that were school based or my own interests.
I have had two comments overall.
Week 6 & “My Catalina Trip” I think these post had the most comments because it talks about interesting things.
I enjoy writing “My Catalina Trip” because it brings back good memories, and It is a lot of fun remembering what we did durning the trip.
I changed my themes once because I didn’t like how my old theme was customize.
I have four widgets. I think this is enough because you don’t need to have an extreme or a lot of widget.
I don’t have a blogroll.
I was looking for a good blog, and then I found a really good post. When I looked up at the URL and I noticed it was jasminech7. The post that she makes are very inspiring, you could tell that she takes her time working on them.
What makes a great family?
what makes a great family is knowing that we have each other’s support no matter what. Having support in a family is important especially in difficult times. Support is not only important, but also respect. Respecting one another in a family is important because if you don’t, you won’t have a functional family. Love is also important in a family. Love is important because it makes everyone care about one another. It is also important because you feel happy and better.
Without family, you have no one to give you courage or to put you back up. A great family does not have to have a lot things, as in being rich, or having the best house, a great family contains a roof over your head and a family that shows that they care. Sometimes I think that my parents do not care about me when they do not let me go places, but then I realize that they are only doing it because of my saftey.
Also justt going places and getting to know better. I like going to the beach with my family and spending some time with them. Sometimes our parents are busy with their work, but when they have some time maybe you guys can play some ball or go to the mall. This is what I think makes a great family! What are some things you think make a great family?
What time do you normally get up to go to school?
I get up around 6:30 a.m
How do you get to school?
I get to school with my mom or dad, in a car
How long does it take to get to or from school?
It takes me at least 15 minutes to get to school
What do you do at break times? Games, activities etc
Durning break times, I eat my snack and sometimes play basketball.
School bell has gone for end of day – what happens now, or I do homework.
When I am out of school, I get ready for my practice
Do you have to wear uniform?
Yes, I do have to wear uniform.
What do you enjoy most about school?
I enjoy all the actives that we have.
One of my leaders that I look up to is, Rosa Parks. The reason she is my leader is because she was not scaried to say what was on her mind. Her character showed bravery. I am glad that she did not go to the back of the bus because without her I do not know who else would be brave to sit or stand up for her. My second leader is, George W. Bush. The reason that he is one of my leaders is because he was not only the first president of the United States but he was also a good man. George was the reason that The U.S won the American Revolution. These two are just some people in our world that made a difference. Who knows maybe you will be someone’s leader.
My favorite sport is basketball. The reason why I like basketball is because it is aggressive and a fun sport to play. I have been playing for five years, when I started I never knew that I would like it. But then I started watching the nba, and started looking up at the L.A Clippers, the clippers made a huge impact on me because I love how they play. There is no “I” when they play it is all about teamwork. I have meant Chris Paul(my inpiration) and I was excited both of the times. Chris Paul inspired me because he passes all the time and no matter how tall the other person he never gives up. This is my favorite sport, which is your?
This past week my classmates and I went on a trip to Catalina. We did a lot for activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and labs. My favorite part was the kayaking, this was the best we had to tricks on the boat. The tricks that we had to do were, stand up on the boat, dance, and paddle while standing up. I tried standing up but the boat started tipping over because there were little waves. I sat back down because I was afraid, but my partner was still standing. When she went to sit down, she brought the whole boat with her! I had a little mini heart attack because I was going to drown because I do not know how to swim. Then my friend tried clamming me down, and then I realize that my lifejacket was helping me. Kayaking was my favorite part because we got to see a lot of different sea creations, we past a kettle forest, and the most amazing part was watching a sea lion in action. There were at least two pelicans and one sea lion trying to get their lunch, it was fantastic on how awesome it was for them to get lunch since they were at least three feet from out boat!
I do not always have memories but this memory changed me in my heart. I was out with some of friends and I had some extra money, we went out of the building, and there right next to the door was a homeless guy. I went towards him and my friends were telling me to turn around and get away from him. But I did not listen I sat across from him on the floor, I had a conversation with him and I gave him the twenty dollars that I had and a bottle of water. Now every Christmas Eve, me and my family try going to this community service, that gives food and gifts to unforchunate. I like seeing the smile that the people have in there face, it has to be one of the best feelings. What is your favorite memory?
Today in class I learned that not every picture can be saved or shared because of copyright. Without copyright people can draw, say it’s their own, and sell it. Creative Commons (CC) gives you the choice to share to the web and you get to choose what rules the users need to follow. If they want to buy it they would have to ask you and you will get to talk about how much you get.
